My wife and I ducked into a Scottsbluff restaurant while we were in town this afternoon.

Chain restaurant here in wingnuttia with this sign up in the lot by US-26: Cooks $20/hr Waiters $15/hour, two-weeks paid vacation, health insurance, other benefits, full-time.

And probably already getting “advice” from customers that all of that will drive away business because they’ll have no choice but to raise prices and anybody they hire will not be worth a damn because they’ll just show up to collect a paycheck while sitting on their ass.
