At the same time, there’s a bill right now going through the paces that would expand the eligibility for the death penalty to accomplices. So if all you did was drive the killer away from the scene, the court could find you guilty and sentence you to death alongside him.

I’m against the death penalty, but willing complicity to murder is still murder in my book.
