This was a dumb op ed.

The GOP didn’t lose because of the 47% remarks.

The GOP lost because they lost touch with reality.

For some reason, voters tend to appreciate candidates with both feet on the ground- for better or worse.

I think it is fair to say that Romney’s 47% remarks were strong evidence of his detachment from reality. Plus, dissing half the country is never to be recommended.
