Read about that yesterday. She was 25 and already had 4 kids; the 8 yr old daughter gave evidence that the woman and her boyfriend beat the 4 yr old up. There is evidence that another boy has several broken ribs, so it’s pretty certain that they all were beaten.

These people don’t deserve to ever see those poor children again, and I hope the kids can get over what they’ve been through. It makes me so damned sad to hear these things and makes me wonder if child abuse has gotten worse because of other factors than authoritarian parents.
