As I’ve mentioned before, California Republicans were some of the meanest, most heartless sons of bitches I ever had the misfortune to deal with, and I thought that even when I was a Republican. Back in the 80s, few Texas Republicans realized that the crazed haters and zealots from California were actually the future of the party, leading the charge to the outright fascism we see today. Today, of course, they are a good match for the Texan GOP, but they will be in for a nasty surprise when Texas turns blue too, as it inevitably must.
