There was a hell of a storm here last night. I slept through it. (I slept through an earthquake that took down a hospital.) Streets came unpaved, heavy equipment is still clearing some intersections. One fatality, possibly two more. They’re still searching the main former arroyo (temporary river) through town. Big hail, lots of rain.

So I’m mailing my rent check, and I have a stamp to use with a fishy on it (from the Pets collection). I’m 2 blocks from the now-filled arroyo.
