…I never would have voted for him in any of his campaigns due to ideological disagreements and I think his leadership skills lacked in key areas- see Palin, Sarah but I do think he was a man who loved this country and wanted what was best for it.

Same here. For me personally, I will never forget his egregious warmongering, such as his attempts to stir up U.S. military attacks against Iran, to say nothing of the Iraq wars.

I respect his service. That’s about it.
