Meanwhile I had a pair of chicken thighs marinating most of the day in plain old “zesty italian salad dressing”. Now they’re in the air fryer and after I flip them I’ll start the water for the instant mashed potatoes along with some corn. Should be a decent little meal. Then since it’s after 5 here, beer & rum.
I use zesty Italian when I do my grill cooking. I use the sauce brush to brush it on every few minutes and when turned. Dad always used it also (wonder where I got the idea) when doing chickens on the spit. As they would turn he would walk down the spit every once in a while just squeezing the bottle all over the turning chickens. Always came out great.
