Meanwhile, in California, Republicans may get shut out of the general election next year for governor and the US Senate.

GOP candidate for governor running in third place (behind Newsom and Villaraigosa, and within the margin of error of Chiang who is in 4th). Yes, you read that right, there’s a chance that the GOP won’t do better than fourth place in the open primary.

In the Senate race, the only GOP candidate finishes in third place with less than 20%.

Trump’s approval ratings out here are under the crazification factor - only 22%! (couldn’t find the party breakdown, but I’m guessing he’s under 60% among Republicans)
