On another note, remember when you talked about how Nixon sabotaged a Vietnam War peace deal in order to win the 1968 election? Rachel Maddow’s done a show about it, and it’ll air tomorrow at 9 PM:

One of the long running mysteries of the Vietnam war was why Nixon did not try to replace, or at least rein in, the fantastically corrupt Thieu regime.There were plenty of alternatives. The administration said this was out of respect for South Vietnamese sovereignty, an absurd claim given that Thieu had gained power in an utterly obvious sham election in 1967. The real reason was apparently that Thieu had the goods on him, for sabotaging the peace process in 1968.
