Didn’t Joe Barton say that people on Meals on Wheels should be working? Does that guy have any clue who most of the recipients of that program are? I mean I could understand maybe if this was some freshman congressman but a committee chair like Barton who has been office since the mid 80’s?

Seriously.

Meals on Wheels is for the sick and housebound seniors who can’t leave the house to buy groceries and who would otherwise starve or go hungry if they didn’t get a fresh, hot meal delivered to them daily. Barton is a clueless, heartless motherfucker.

Of course, this is the same guy who apologized to BP for the government questioning them about the Gulf oil spill. He’s not exactly the brightest bulb in the box.
