I see many of these “others religion” scares as just them remembering what they did to achieve their dominance in the western world and afraid that tactic will be used on them.

I don’t think they have that much of a grasp of history. They just know that they want to establish a Christian Theocracy and are threatened by any religion that would want to do the same.
