A censure vote is nice as an abstract, but in the eyes of Trump such a vote would be no less a “betrayal” of him than a vote to convict, so there’s no chance Mitch would ever allow it to actually come to a vote. Or that, if the Senate Dems found a way around him, 4 “moderates” would break ranks to help it pass.
