But as we already know “none” simply means not of any of the groups. It’s not a unifying factor to rally any sort of political support around.* And it definitely doesn’t meet in large groups to organize, fund raise, and potentially take political action.

One party is overtly religious, of a particular bent, fascist, intent on taking away the religious, speech, and voting rights of those who don’t agree with their particular interpretations of faith.

That seems like unifying factors to me. There is a reason the majority of “nones” and nearly every atheist and agnostic vote for the Democratic Party. They don’t want to kill us.
