There was a version of Mitt that I could have supported, but he was such a fucking coward instead. Running away from his signature accomplishment as governor, suddenly becoming pro-choice, and “severely conservative.” If he had any conviction, he could have been the guy to start modernizing the GOP.

He had he done that, he would have gotten even fewer votes. Mitts rush to the right was a ploy to placate the Tea Party voters and nothing else.
