The coal mines aren’t there anymore, it’s all mountaintop removal now that needs a fraction of the workers, and those workers are demolition and heavy equipment and truck drivers.
The market isn’t there anymore.
And I don’t know how Hillary could have communicated it any better than she did: those old jobs are gone, they aren’t coming back, so here’s my plan for new job training for jobs that are better paying and safer.
And it’s the same as the sad tales about the factory towns and lost industries.
