I once brought pulled pork (that I had cooked for something like 16 hours in my smoker) to a party and I almost cried/commited murder when one of my brother’s friends from Denmark put ketchup and mustard on his sandwich.
I have an image of 2 pigs ‘makin’ bacon’ and thinking that the term pushing pork would apply……..
