I am interested on your take on what happened to the US auto industry. I think there is a lot of blame to spread around.

AND - So There Is. Management Provided ALL of the Designs - AND - the Production Processes.
The American Industry “Re-Discovered” the FACT that, given the choice, American Buyers would still buy a +/- 119” Wheelbase STATION WAGON. That it was Taller and Truckier than a 1959 Plymouth Wagon (3 on my street, growing up) was even better - It was NOT a Mom-Mobile - It was an “SUV!” - OR what I call a “ULT” - Ugly Little Truck!
“SUV’s” in the 1990’s and Early “20’s’ were an empowering thing for adult, parent, FEMALES.
From here on out, IF we ALL are smarter - we will do two (2) things.
1. Buy and Drive vehicles closer to our real Needs instead of Desires.
2. FIGHT any and ALL attempts to increase taxes on a. Fuel, b. Fuel Mileage, and/or Usage.
