It only takes a few supporters and the rest willing to stay silent. Hamas aren’t ninjas, they can’t sneak in and out this frequently without being seen. Rocket launches are obvious to everybody. I’m pretty sure the vast majority of people who work in these facilities know what’s going on.

Willing or too scared to say anything. I never said Hamas were ninjas. But they do carry guns, and are known to be on the radical side. People may know what’s going on, but that doesn’t mean they would be willing to put their necks on the line to say something, and I can’t say that I blame them.

You’re putting a lot of volition on these hospital/school workers in a situation where there are other people with guns and a huge network of support.
