The quickest way out of debt would be to Boom the economy. There are a few ways to do that across several sectors:

1. Cut gov’t red tape on nuclear energy
2. allow more offshore drilling
3. Coast to Coast high speed freight rail
4. Open some land in the West for homesteading
5. Deregulate Shipping and Ship building
6. Allow commercial nuclear powered shipping
7. Revise what’s conventional and non conventional for FHA loans with an eye toward new century building.
8. Electrify all interstates

Those are just a few I came up with that in less than two minutes. All have potential regardless of what naysayers might coo about.
