We did not ban cars. We did not ban alcohol. But a DWI is a much worse thing today than when I was 18. That’s what we can do with guns.

The standard counter argument is that guns are a Constitutional right, while driving is not.

There is a right to bear arms, but no Constitutional right to unrestricted or unlimited access.
