I really don’t get the guns in schools concept. Idealistic thinking, but simply not workable.

I think they’d have a hard time finding enough teachers who would want to carry a problem. I also think they are short-sighted on the training aspect. A person who is not well-trained and able to think in the mind-set of the criminal could easily be overpowered and the firearm taken from them.

It takes law enforcement, military or a serious shooter (one that completes and trains constantly) to be able to be cognizant in such situations, IMHO.

Merely having a gun and passing a test will not suffice.
