Heh, yeah, the first week is always brutal. After that your body kind of adjusts to the deprivation. It’s also a lot easier when it falls during fall/winter and the days are cooler & shorter.
Ramadan during June must be nightmarish in the Northern Hemisphere. 16-17 hours of daylight leave little time to eat and sleep.
