It’s not 2008/2012, and none of the candidates we’ll have, for better or worse, are Obama this time around. Taking this for granted is dangerous sledding, and Trump’s rhetoric alone, win or lose, is dangerous enough if there’s not good pushback.

I’m confident that Hillary and her team won’t take it for granted, and will work like hell to get our voters out. She will, I’m sure, select a VP with strong appeal to African-American or Hispanic voters, because we are now long past the day when an all-white ticket is acceptable.
