“Get out of State Civil Court” anyway. The thing is there’s a certain logic to it, the idea that a sitting President shouldn’t be subject to constant personal civil badgering in the civil courts of State he/she lost in the general election.

It’s not a particularly good or compelling logic, just saying I can see that argument being made by Trump’s lawyers and accepted by Thomas and Alito at the least.
