We can’t be sure that a massive fuck-off wall will stop all illegal immigration (in fact, we know it won’t), but we must build it anyway.

We can’t be sure that a ban on immigration/refugees from Muslim countries will bring a stop to terrorism (it won’t), but we must support it because it might stop one terrorist.

We can’t be sure that draconian “Voter ID” laws will stop voter fraud, but we must implement them because it might.

But because we can’t be sure that gun control laws would have stopped a single mass shooting, we can’t jump to conclusions.

Give me a fucking break.
