Interesting… so McConnell is saying a vote will happen this week. Yet Cornyn (the Majority Whip) is saying that the FBI background report is going to have to be made public, and that he doesn’t know when McConnell will file for cloture.

They have really managed to fuck this shit up in new and novel ways. Couldn’t happen to a nicer group of politicians.

Until there’s a vote scheduled, any assurances from Mitch that such is happening this week are empty bluster. He knows this nomination is crashing and burning, but he doesn’t want to say that aloud for fear that he’ll be the one drawn and quartered.
