A Tesla uses the same amount of gas at both speeds, zero. /snark

With electric vehicles, the slower you go, the more efficient it is for the most part. But the cost is so low (zero if you have solar) that the only time you’d be remotely concerned about it is during long road trips. As far as stop and go is concerned, it’s not nearly as punishing in electrics since they benefit from regenerative braking.
