I’m Sorry.. I’m not sure what to say.. It was a great night, Watching Ball, drinking a beer…Eating Chicken Alfredo.. I just got the call from my family…
My dad has a tumor the size of a fist in his brain and is going to die soon..
I’m just devastated and heart broken…
I need to make plans in the morning to go back home for awhile…
My daddy…Who adopted me when I was a brat at age 12…
The memories are flooding in…And so are the tears..I’m sorry I have to write this..
You know what..I’ll never forget him coming to my Catholic School basketball games.. I could tell he was so proud…
The only time i really remember was when I was guarding someone and tripped and fell on my ass…I looked up and pops was just laughing…
I promised that would never happen again…All the years playing Ball in School that memory sticks out the most…
The time I begged my pops to leave Catholic School and attend a local public school…I know it broke his heart but I begged him and cried real tears and he said..OK..Follow your dreams…
I love dad..But more importantly perhaps is the love between my kids and grandpa..They adore each other…Much to my bemusement…His kindness to my children has been remarkable.. Man He treats them so much better than he did me…( Kidding )
There is nothing I could ever do to make up for what this man did to change my life…He had to be great cause he married the most awesome woman in the world…
I’m sorry…
