It shows the total contempt the GOP has for the intelligence of black voters; they think all they need to do is prop up a token candidate and BAM! here comes the black vote.

Not so fast there. The GOP hasn’t gone and nominated Cain. Intrade etc. estimate his chances in low single digits.

What we’re looking at here is contempt, alright, but it’s Cain’s contempt for the ability of Republican primary voters to figure out what will happen in the general election if he wins the nomination.

My guess is that while Republican voters may be stupid, they’re not as stupid as Cain thinks they are.
