The best I got is that he attacked a specific person, which makes his attacks less abstract, combined with his insinuation about those women in the nation who are taking Birth Control. That meant many people could see themselves or their loved ones in Fluke. And, people get more riled up against Rush then before because it’s personal.

True. However, he asked Fluke to post sex videos online so all the people that are “paying for her birth control pills” could watch. I think the stench was too much to bear at that point.
