Possibly. The teens may have had a gun and ditched it. They may have tried to be intimidating and brandished something that looked like a gun. Or the guy might be completely full of shit and made up the story. Anything is possible.

He’s sees the gun, and he goes for his own, and the kids who supposedly have their gun allow him the time to take it out, aim and shoot? And don’t shoot back?
