Just catching up after spending 3 hours trying to decipher cross-tabs on a ridiculously skewed survey for a client. Ugh.

Anyway, two things:

1. Lindsey Graham—don’t know what is causing him to be such a complete far-right asswipe these days—even worse than usual. As far as it being “anything to get elected,” that doesn’t make sense to me because he’s not up for re-election till 2020 and in 2014, he blew his more wingnutty opponents out in the primary—the closest competitor only got 15%. It’s one of two things (or a combination). He loves to be on TV, so the more “controversial” his comments, the more face time and/or Trump and the gang have something to hold over his head. And I’d be surprised if that involved sexual orientation, as those rumors have abounded down here for years and don’t seem to affect his results. It’s a puzzlement.

2. I love Dolly Parton and especially her version of “I Will Always Love You.” I can barely listen to Whitney Houston’s version without breaking out in hives.
