Are you kidding me? He needs several days to figure out that endorsing someone he barely knew who stands accused of reprehensible behavior, should be recanted? And he is competent to teach middle school? Tell me, what does he need to figure out? What side he is on? If she is lying?

Maybe he is just doing a disappearing act because he got himself way more into a mess than he ever expected by signing a letter. He could be so far in over his head that clamming up and trying to get it all to go away is all he can think to do right now.

That is a typical human response. I don’t know his character so I think it hard to say he would do what he should do.

We are just watching and we don’t have our butts in the fire. It’s real easy to think clearly in our positions…not so much in his.
