What’s E-Verify?

It’s the system that businesses are required to check with to make sure that they aren’t hiring undocumented persons.

That’s right. Trump’s shutdown prevents businesses from knowing whether they’re hiring undocumented persons at a time when Trump’s demanding a wall be built to keep undocumented persons from entering the country.
