High school is beyond old enough to know right from wrong. This school is a prime example of private schools not being at all superior to public schools. The shit about a “boys only advantage as a selling point to parents is nauseating.Part of me wants them exposed for being the privileged little shits that they are, part of me knows they’re stupid hateful kids and maybe someday they will grow the fuck up. The thing is, real life fuck ups can have permanent consequences and shielding kids from that does them no favors. The right answer is somewhere in the middle. They exposed who they are on video. Within their own community I’m sure they’re already known for being assholes. I’m for public shaming and shunning within their small little bubble. Like the local coffee shop owner telling them they won’t be served or the local auto repair place sending them away.

The thing is, when kids are never told no or shown consequences for actions, you end up with monsters. Like trump. Like a little girl I’m dealing with now who is adorable and no one has told her no. Til she met me. She’s 4 and is anorexic except for candy and cola. Her mom refuses to deny her anything. As a result I am dealing with a kid who won’t eat, won’t color or read stories or play with anything but paw patrol toys and who I cannot take anywhere because if I don’t buy her things she loses her shit and literally screams “stop hitting me!” in front of people. She does not do that in private.

Adults create monsters they are rarely held accountable for. Exposing school and parent involvement would be my approach in dealing with this shit.
