That seemed awfully early to me also. Here’s one of the other stories:

The officer might be telling the entire truth but I think I’ve read enough other stories that I’m unwilling to give him the benefit of the doubt. I’m really hoping there is video of all this somewhere.

And after the crash he could have been disoriented or suffering from some other kind of injury. Possibly a brain injury. He was unarmed. No drugs and alcohol. Bleh. They’ll sweep it under the rug.
