They have a point about the word’s general meaninglessness. E.g. at LGF it is seemingly used to denote young libertarian-ish guys regardless of demeanor, the UD thinks it’s something very different altogether, in wiktionary (which I usually trust) it’s any homophobic, misogynist macho, and so on.

to me, it simply means anyone who thinks that Edward Snowden is a hero
