I can not disagree with your post or position.
I just find myself rolling my eyes at the instant hand-wringing by some.

I’ll grab D-Stars drums if you bring the flowers.

It isn’t ‘handwringing’ or ‘sympathy for the bad guy’ to support trial, due process, and punishment. That’s just being an american and endorsing the rule of law, and saying that our system is the best on earth and expressing full confidence that the guilty will be punished— within our system. Like we’re supposed to do. That’s how we roll.

If that makes me a ‘handwringer’, run with it. I think it makes me an American.
