I think that is a large part of Trump’s strategy at this point, if he has one: Drive down turnout because Republican diehards will crawl over broken glass and hot coals to vote, while Democrats are generally seen as unwilling to crawl out of bed to vote if they don’t like their candidate.

Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working.
