The GOP used it as a hostage tactic against Obama. Who the fuck is Trump kidding? I doubt Trump even knows what the debt ceiling is or why it’s in plan this soon?

It’s the Trump tax scam, that’s why. Trump’s giveaway to the 1% meant that revenues crashed because he gave a trillion dollar tax cut to those who didn’t need it. That meant that the debt this year broke $1 trillion for the first time during a period that isn’t a world war or recession. It’s because Trump broke the government.
