I’ve read the story now, and it’s not a complete he said/she said situation. I assume that if there’s foul play, the testimony of the daughters will contradict the police testimony. Also, “plow a car through a gate” - does it mean he crashed the gate? If so, this is also verifiable. IOW, if there’s foul play, there will be stench.

Pfft. The cops will word everything to their advantage. The cop that killed him will claim a medical disability due to duress and get a desk assignment. Upon retirement he’ll get his pension and start double dipping. SNAFU
