Israel seems to be the only nation the NRA likes to refer to when comparing America with other nations’ approach to guns.

But then again, to the NRA the parallels are so clear: we, as God’s Own Nation, beleaguered by Islamist enemies from all sides who understand only the threat of superior firepower.
