Bernie Sanders Tweets: "You Cannot Be a Moderate and a Progressive"

I’ve mostly tried to ignore Bernie’s supporters and focus on the good that he’s done for the race, as I do think he’s helped bring a lot of focus on topics that have been ignored or not as emphasized in recent elections and given Hillary the courage to move the Overton window without fear that there would be a backlash for doing so. If anything, his presence has helped folks find acceptance for proposals that might have been considered “far-left” in a race between her and O’Malley.

But after the data breach and the audacity of suing the party for “sabotaging” his campaign, I started to get the impression that the man is not ready for prime time. And his behavior in following weeks has only deepened that impression. He’s not able to move out of his comfort zone, everything in his universe revolves around his belief that corruption and influence are the greatest evils in America. Even on questions of foreign policy, he’d feel the need to drag them back to talk about income inequality. And now this week, between his bitching over the Iowa results and today’s tweets, makes me think the man is simply too thin-skinned to survive a punch-up with even Rubio.
