I do a lot of volunteering at young adult shelters and the other day a young black guy I know who frequents our shelter recognised the “amor fati” on the back of my sweater as coming from Nietzche. First person in maybe 6 months to do so (and tell me). He said it was the closest to his personal philosophy at the moment.

A lot of North American academic departments dont teach Nietzche anymore so even they would miss it.
