I almost never eat breakfast away from home now that I am retired and no longer have a commute. The biscuits were killer but the gravy was just so so, the Creole spices with extra fresh ground pepper brought it up to just OK.
I make a weird version with Jimmy Dean sage sausage, cooked then simmered in chicken broth. Add a roux. It is not the “white” style. But it is de-lish.
