Yeah, I was *just* sitting here thinking about which credit card I could put this on which wouldn’t trigger either an outright decline or a fraud call. Banks are so sensitive these days. My brother ordered online some e-racing equipment (wheel, shifter, pedals) last week that cost just over $500. His credit card company called two minutes after the order was placed to make sure that the order was legit. Yeah, I could call phone banking and tell them a large transaction was coming through, but I’d have to wait on hold at least 20 minutes.

Once upon a time I had a collection of 500+ chess books. Many of them were rare editions. I had to sell them to pay for the IV’s…meanwhile the corporate beancounter examiner who denied my claims got incentive payments from SCREW CROSS. The more claims denied the bigger the bonus.

SCREW CROSS actually gave the examiners who denied the most claims yearly prizes like a cruise, a week at Club Med, trip to London or Paris…while I suffered for 10 fucking months…
