If it was Catholics writing the laws, I imagine you’d see Charismatics discriminated against.

Most of them would discriminate against Mormons. All of them would discriminate against atheists (and have even before such laws were written).

It doesn’t matter which franchise of Christianity writes their beliefs into law, they will discriminate against all the others (and Jews, &c).

How big is the Catholic presence in SC? And the Jewish community certainly didn’t support these laws.
