And they should, but here’s the thing: I don’t remember a whole lot of details from anything more than about 20 years ago (I’m 49). Unless it was a thing they knew was iffy back then and doing it really stuck, they may not remember it. I think we really have to measure how they react if it comes out, but they will get way more points if they are the ones that expose it.

I am taking a different stance on Herring than Northam in part because of how Herring has addressed it. And you’re right, sometimes we do forget and I get that.
