Dwayne Johnson’s criticism (he posted last night) of Trump has gotten a little bit of attention, but not as much as I had thought (for a guy who has been the top box office draw for a while and has millions of online followers.)

Maybe, I think, the problem is that Johnson is trying to influence Trump or the people around here, but the reality is that Trump doesn’t want to change.

Trump is literally incapable of changing. As a GOP strategist said, Trump is so defective, he can only run as what he is. That was just barely good enough in 2016 when he had the Russians, the entire media and James Comey running interference for him; it won’t be this year while the country is burning down and he is manifestly unfit for the job.
